Once the primer is completely dry, apply the final topcoat of paint. Use paint that matches the color and finish of the existing wall. Apply the paint evenly over the primed patch, extending slightly beyond its edges to blend seamlessly with the surrounding wall. Depending on the paint and desired coverage, you may need to apply two coats, allowing adequate drying time between each.
