Unpack the drywall repair patch, revealing the metal mesh on one side and a sticky backing on the other. Carefully peel off the protective paper from the sticky side of the patch. Position the patch directly over the hole in the drywall, ensuring it completely covers the damaged area. Apply gentle pressure from the center of the patch outwards towards the edges to adhere it securely to the wall and prevent any wrinkles from forming.
