Step 6 · Check Operation and Re-inspect

Open and close the window several times to ensure the weatherstripping and caulk have not obstructed its movement. Allow the caulk to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions. Once cured, perform another draft inspection, using the smoke pencil or by feeling for air movement, to confirm the effectiveness of your sealing efforts.
