Step 2 · Measure and Cut New Screen

Measure the height and width of the interior of the window frame where the screen will sit. It's best to measure in a few places and use the largest measurement for each dimension. Cut a piece of new screen material that is approximately 2-3 inches larger in both height and width than your frame measurements. This overlap will allow for proper attachment.
