Step 3 · Install the New Shower Spigot

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Install the new spigot by carefully reversing the removal process. Before attaching the new spigot, wrap plumber's tape around the threads of the shower arm to ensure a watertight seal. Ensure all parts are properly aligned and tightened.
