Step 2 · Remove the Old Shower Spigot
This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.
Carefully remove the old spigot. Begin by unscrewing the faceplate. Then, remove the handle and cartridge, using an adjustable wrench to loosen and remove the retaining nut. Take photos of each step for easier reassembly.
