Step 2 · Attach Bladder to Hose

Select a drain cleaning bladder that is rated for your pipe diameter (3-4 inches as per our assumed scenario). Carefully inspect the rubber bladder for any signs of wear, cracks, or brittleness. Do not use a damaged bladder. Securely attach the threaded metal end of the bladder to your garden hose. Hand-tighten the connection to create a good seal. Unwind the garden hose, ensuring there are no kinks or twists that could restrict water flow.
