Step 3 · Remove and Install the Shower Handle: Simple Steps for Success

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

To remove the handle, you may need to unscrew a retaining screw or cap. After removing the screw(s) or cap, carefully pull the handle off. Install the new handle by following the manufacturer's instructions. This may involve aligning tabs and tightening screws.
