Step 2 · Remove the Old Shower Head: A Step-by-Step Guide
This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.
Use an adjustable wrench to carefully remove the old shower head. Turn the wrench counter-clockwise to loosen the shower head from the shower arm. If it's stubborn, apply a penetrating oil like WD-40 to help loosen it before attempting to remove it again. Once removed, inspect the shower arm's threads for any damage.
