Step 4 · Install the New Toilet Fill Valve

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Install the new fill valve, following the manufacturer's instructions. Generally, this involves inserting the valve, securing it with the nut (hand-tighten!), and reconnecting the water supply line. Adjust the float height as needed for the correct water level.
