Step back and view the hedge from various angles to ensure an even trim and desired shape. Trim any stray branches or missed spots. Water the hedge if conditions are dry, especially after a heavy trim, to help it recover and reduce stress. Apply mulch around the base if desired, to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
