Step 3 · Remove the Old Valve Stems

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Use an adjustable wrench to carefully remove the packing nuts securing the valve stems. Once the nuts are loose, gently pull out the old valve stems. Note the position and orientation of the parts for reassembly.
