Step 4 · Install the New Cartridge

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Install the new cartridge, ensuring it's the correct type for your faucet. Insert the new cartridge and secure it with the retaining clip or nut. Take care not to overtighten.
