Step 3 · Disconnect the Water Supply Lines

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Using an adjustable wrench, carefully disconnect the copper supply lines from the faucet tailpieces. Work slowly and cautiously to prevent damage to the supply lines or the faucet.
