Step 3 · Inspect and Repair (or Replace) Water Supply Lines

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Thoroughly inspect the copper water supply lines for any leaks, cracks, or corrosion. If necessary, use a pipe cutter to replace damaged sections and install new compression fittings. Ensure clean connections.
