Step 1 · Shut Off Water Supply

Before you begin, safety first! Turn off both the hot and cold water supply lines under your sink. Then, turn the faucet on briefly to release any remaining water pressure. If you can't locate the shut-off valves under the sink, you may need to turn off the main water supply to your house.
