Step 3 · Install Dual Shower Head Diverter Valve

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Install the dual shower head diverter valve where the old shower arm was. Wrap Teflon tape clockwise around the valve's threads to create a watertight seal. This is crucial to prevent leaks. Screw the valve securely into the shower fitting.
