Step 2 · Remove Existing Shower Arm and Shower Head
This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.
Carefully remove the existing shower arm using an adjustable wrench. Wrap a rag around the arm for better grip and to prevent scratching. Once loosened, remove it by hand. Then, use an adjustable wrench to remove the old shower head. Remember to turn the wrench counter-clockwise.
