Step 4 · Install the New Delta Cartridge

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Carefully install the new Delta 17 Series (or appropriate model) cartridge. Make sure it's properly aligned and seated in the valve body. Tighten the retaining nut by hand—avoid over-tightening.
