Step 4 · Install the New Faucet Body

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Install the new faucet body following the manufacturer’s instructions. This often involves applying plumber's putty or Teflon tape to the threads before screwing it into place. Secure the escutcheon plate and handle as per the instructions.
