Step 8 · Groom the Carpet

Once the carpet is completely dry, you can groom the pile to restore its original texture and appearance. Use a carpet rake or a stiff brush to gently lift and separate the fibers. This is especially helpful for plush or high-pile carpets. It helps the carpet look freshly cleaned and can improve its longevity by preventing matting.
