Step 7 · Reconnect Battery Terminals

Once testing is complete, reconnect the battery terminals. First, place the positive cable clamp onto the positive (+) battery post and tighten it securely with the wrench. Then, place the negative cable clamp onto the negative (-) battery post and tighten it. Reconnecting the positive terminal first helps prevent sparks.
