Step 3 · Clean Battery Terminals
Corrosion on the battery terminals and cable clamps can impede electrical flow, leading to inaccurate test results. Use a wire brush or a dedicated battery terminal cleaner tool to thoroughly scrub both the battery posts and the inside of the cable clamps until they are clean and shiny. This ensures optimal contact for voltage and load testing.
