What happens here

With the rock auger attached, the operator uses the hydraulic controls of the Protech Evo 1 to drill into the ground where a fence post is to be installed. The auger effectively cuts through the sandstone-type rocks, producing fine rock dust. The presenter highlights the auger's reversible function, which allows it to be backed out if it encounters stubborn rock, preventing it from getting stuck and facilitating easier extraction. This pre-drilling creates a suitable pilot hole for the fence post.
