Volunteers! You'll never guess what they did!

final pull of our fence build so Luke farm fence solutions he's up here working with us helping build the place and these two guys help volunteer today Luke's waiting on me to get up here so you can finish this pull this is insanely tight is it okay to stay away from the winch okay so this is the last run look how long is this run is is this six hundred and sixty foot pull to the end and this is the wire and it is tight man like a banjo string I apologize if the screen is a little bit pixelated I'm on a corner of our farm that doesn't have the best service so just bear with us here guys I'm gonna put you on a tripod here and they're gonna start attaching fence we had a couple volunteers come out today and you'll never guess what they did they did good they did a good job so let's let's storm you guys on the tripod here and we'll talk to the people that that are just like you that came and volunteered on the farm today super awesome super awesome community kind of thing here these guys can get a bit better feel of the community that I live in here too because what all the neighbors just about come by yeah it's been good people nice people just to just awesome scenario so step to the post gotcha hung insulators got you walked about three thousand miles around the forum so any first good when you first got here my comment was don't be scared coming up you're getting the face this place was small yeah I thought it was small when I pulled up in front he pulled up in front and I said what was your first impression he said if space is small we took a ride on the Gator he's like well it's bigger this there's a lot a lot of work here I mean the first thing you see when you when you get out here and you start looking around is work work work work come to work yep you told me I was crazy a minute ago because I'm taking all this on on my own really and without the help of other people it's hard just from a little bit we fit along that run down there yeah yeah for you to be doing this by yourself you're insane yeah yeah it's gonna it'll pay off this is gonna be a really good you know good thing yep yeah can you imagine this field behind you this this field right here was just brambles and briars and and a total disaster sorry I'm leaning on your hand there fence is so tight I'm crushing his hand can you imagine taking this from a briar patch to a thing of beauty like this I mean it's it's it's unbelievable yeah you've been doing it for how many years it's for this is our fourth year up here this June I guess June around this time four years ago is when we moved up here we bought the property in like October so of I guess five years ago but really started hammering away at this we moved up here in June so we sold our house and in town and moved out here we moved from a third of an acre to the and peaceful place it's a nice place please we're three days two days shy of a week's worth putting fence up and you're a quarter of the way done yeah well so most of the pools tomorrow big big so you guys are getting the real-time update here what's really going on these guys were a super duper huge help for us I think you again so much both of you shaking hand here again we're gonna go over and check out Luke as he's working on the fence but he's got it going on for sure so Luke what are you doing over here so you'll tie off to that post and this is the stretcher to a winch on this machine right here this is called a pro tech Evo and it is a awesome machine you guys will get a little bit more of the machinery and everything that we're using a little bit later on this is a roll of wire on the machine this is a purpose-built fence building machine look at all those levers and stuff Robert Cray need to dot a super chat thank you buddy appreciate it so there's another guy down at the end of this fence row right here and it just goes on forever and he's down there making sure everything snug all the way around the corner so they're pulling out down around one corner and back around another corner huge huge huge pull don't worry H ioans will be showing a whole lot more so yeah I guess your wife's on the live stream so anybody giving you slack about the Jeep not getting done yeah tell them to come out here and see what you got going on sometime Thanksgiving Thanksgiving is when it's so again I'm you got to be a little bit crazy to take on a project like this but I think Thanksgiving we haven't even taken in the shop you have to see the Jeep uh but you guys look no now we having that time we started right there deucey right yep been up here all day we got two new geese we need help name them one is a male I think and one is a female I think I was thinking about like peril and David or something like that battle maybe we'll let these guys name and you guys name them who maybe we'll do a community post and get you guys to name the uh the geese Chris and Chris we could name him Chris and Chris they did a girl named Chris you guys don't look like her at all well this is it guys this is what's going on right now this is your fence update I know we posted a video today already I meant to post that early in the morning tomorrow we're planting the garden down here these guys have already seen it the garden sprouted up there's gonna be a lot of gardening videos a lot of fencing videos a lot of stuff I've got backed up we're gonna talk to you a little bit either Sunday or Monday about alternative ways to make money on your land when you're not running cattle when you're not running sheep when you're not running chickens or whatever so we're gonna talk about a whole lot of fun stuff this is a teaching place don't you think yes we've learned actually quite a bit today about fencing just tornado wire in general absolutely so that's what this is all about this is about teaching and sharing and community and the things that we've forgotten about so much you know in a selfish world that's money hungry the experience you had up here today it's it's almost irreplaceable experience I have up here every day and I'm paying for it it's it's well worth it it's just super awesome David cannon is and you guys live in North Carolina right about what an hour and a half away if you guys followed the Channel Steve my other guy that volunteers this is the first time these guys have been up here but Steve I messaged him he lives about three hours away he he just graduated from it he got a degree I'm not gonna tell you what the degree is in but he just graduated got a new job so he's not volunteering on the farm quite as much so I reached out to him today he may be up next week just so you know that's what's going on I'm a Stoney Ridge I hope you guys can appreciate it and I've again so appreciate you guys being here I don't want you to feel like going to work in another youtubers place now I want you to feel welcome I want you to I want you to know I'm really really thankful for everything that I have here including you guys including Luke including everybody I mean we can help you chip away at yep you can imagine it took me three days to do what you guys did today yeah three
