You won't believe this! Poachers, trespassers invading my farm..what would you do?

we have a problem on the stoney ridge farm guys so today we're going to be going around i have an issue with trespassers i have an issue with poachers on the farm and i have an issue with people parking down here on my quiet country road here in the foothills of the blue ridge mountains in north carolina and throwing out trash i have no idea what else they're doing or whether the things that they're throwing out are stolen or not so today we're going to take you guys around and show you i have a trespassing problem here on the farm and it is a bummer every hunting season every year when the time changes like this i end up having to fight trespassers all over the farm just all over the farm i'm 150 acres right here and it's really upsetting that people just can't mind their own business and stay on their own property and not throw trash out i never would have known they were here had i not had to pick up the trash that they've thrown out we're going to ride around here on the farm today and i'm going to show you guys what's going on out here in my beautiful piece of countryside here in the foothills of the blue ridge mountains in north carolina and i want your opinion i want your feedback you tell me what you think i ought to do about these problems [Music] welcome back to the stony bridge farm this is your first time to the channel please pound that like button jump in subscribe i'd love to have you back this is a first generation cattle farmer on a 150 acre farm here in the foothills of the blue ridge mountains in north carolina and typically what we're doing is tool reviews and building stuff and having fun and just building a homestead on a farm but part of the homesteading and farming experience here in north carolina and i guess probably all over the country you guys share your experiences with me but uh all over the country all over the world i guess you run into situations like this where people are just being blatantly disrespectful of uh you and your surroundings in the beautiful country so uh here on the farm we've got everything mostly fenced you'll see the gate is opening right now that's my first line of defense there's a camera on that post right there there is a camera on this tree right here but wherever i don't have cameras is where all this activity seems to take place so we're gonna ride back here in the woods just a little ways we're only about 100 yards from the house and i don't know who's doing this i've got a sneaking suspicion of who it is but you guys need to see this so as we walk over here this is where i'm having trouble turn the camera around and show you all the trash and garbage and junk that's being set out here so clearly posted private property totally posted right here this is what we're experiencing this is some kind of folded up nastiness i don't know what it is uh but we'll throw it in here with the rest of the garbage whomever keeps parking here and you can see it's a routine thing they're parking here all the time they've backed in here quite a bit um they are smoking salem salem cigarettes uh and there are several salem cigarettes laying right here and we're going to take a ride to the other side of the farm too guys and we're going to show you guys so evidently somebody's got a sweet tooth about two weeks ago maybe three weeks ago when the weather was a little bit warmer i found about four or five popsicle sticks and popsicle stick wrappers now i know what you're thinking hey isn't this harmless no it's not harmless this was thrown out somewhere in the last like two days this is a dr pepper container i have record of every vehicle that goes in and out of this road so there are cameras up here that record everything that goes in and out so i know who it is i'm not going to call them out but i know who it is man um so the next step here is i'm going to have to put a camera either in this tree or this tree right here and we're going to catch these people uh i mean what sense does this make why why are we down here throwing out toilet paper and tissues and sun drop fabric softeners i mean what is this is this paraphernalia i don't know what does a fabric softener do what is this we got spoons now here's the dumbest thing that i've seen so far the whole time i've been down here on the farm speakers two speakers two piles driver it looks like 15 15-inch speakers is this that clean quiet country living that we're supposed to be enjoying here in the in north carolina is this is this the way it's supposed to be i don't think it's the way it's supposed to be all this garbage and trash and it's it's the same person every time and it's been going on for several years now uh throwing out uh the same drink containers dr pepper sun drop dr pepper sun drop over and over dr pepper sun drop so you tell me what do i do do i confront the people that i think are doing this or do i ignore it or do i put a camera up here and not tell anybody what is it that i do do we bust them on camera and then turn them into law enforcement or do we go knock on their door and say hey we're gonna go over to the other side of the farm where somebody has been using my deer stand to hunt deer [Music] i'm not sure if you guys can hear that but even before we get over to the other side of the farm over here way back in here where the deer stand is i hear gunfire bang bang bang bang bang bang bang just like multiple gun shots so we're way over here on the other side of the farm this is an area that i cleared off last year we cleared about 50 acres of new farmland last year and me and my buddy the red beaver if you follow the channel you'll know who he is uh we came over here and put up a deer stand a two-man deer stand so we could come over here and hunt together uh this is kind of a deer sanctuary area on the farm as you can see uh we haven't mowed kind of left it wild over here eventually i'll come over here this winter and i'll get everything all mowed up but uh we're about to pop around the corner this is the furthest from the house that you could possibly get on the farm we're going to pop around the corner and see the deer stand you can see clearly see that ribbon right there there's a property line marker you can see clearly that i have the property lines very well marked right here there's another ribbon tied around that tree all the way around here another property line marker there another property line marker right there now the deer stand you see the property line goes up through there goes right along this edge and the deer stand is in this big white oak right here right up there so undoubtedly what a great place to hunt uh what what an awesome little field to hunt right here very very nice um just kind of quiet slipped way back in the woods here and the client way back in the woods here has drawn in the same crazy neighbor litter bug again so here we are another cup and another dr pepper can and it looks like lipstick or something on there i don't know man i don't know what we've got throw that trash bucket too so you guys tell me what do i do what do i install a camera up on the top of this tree so that i can monitor this area and look right straight down on these people obviously they're gonna see the camera as soon as they come out here these rio link cameras that i use are super super simple to work i'll show you one real quick i'm not going to do a video on real link cameras today but this is what i'm using on the farm all over the farm so that's one of the cameras you can see this is on the top of the hill and i can check on the cows without having to go all over the farm the thing about these rio link cameras that i'm going to be using here and i'll probably be using the rio link cameras to to bust these guys whoever's trespassing they'll zoom so they'll pan they'll tilt and they'll zoom so i can pretty put it pretty much anywhere in this general vicinity and i can catch the trespasser that's causing the problem but man what what a disaster guys tell me what you think what should i do about these these people that are trespassing they're treading on me i mean uh and i know if you're watching from overseas and uh this is a big thing like oh your americans think you own everything but we i'm paying taxes on this money on this land right here i'm paying money i'm paying taxes on it and i don't want to pick up anybody else's trash i don't understand trashing your own neighborhood i've got a crazy neighbor i've got crazy neighbor problems i don't know exactly how to address this but it's i don't know guys post a comment down there tell me what you think awesome deer stand maybe one day i'll have time to go hunting out here on the farm it is the height of hunting season and when the time changes i don't know you tell me a few experiences too but when the time changes inevitably i always have trespassing litter trash throwing idiots coming on
