What happens here

Once the power is confirmed to be off, put on protective gloves. Carefully reach into the garbage disposal opening (through the rubber splash guard) and feel for any solid objects. The presenter finds and removes a substantial amount of fibrous, orange-colored, and dark-colored debris, which he speculates could be a chew toy. Remove as much of this material as possible by hand, placing it aside or directly into a garbage bin.

Goal: After ensuring power is off, carefully reach into the disposal opening (wearing gloves) and pull out any large, visible pieces of debris or foreign objects that are causing the jam.
