Winston Cup Museum Full Tour: His Father Brought Winston To NASCAR! (Unseen Vintage Pictures)

What happens here

The tour highlights a unique "cutaway" racecar, previously used by ESPN during race broadcasts. This car is sectioned to reveal its internal components, including the chassis, suspension, engine, and safety features like the roll cage and driver's seat. Colbert explains its purpose was to provide fans with a "bird's-eye view" of what makes a racecar tick. Nearby are engine displays, showcasing powerful Ford and Chevrolet engines, including an SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) engine.

Goal: Illustrate the internal mechanics and engineering of a NASCAR racecar.
