Willys Jeep Rescue: ENGINE FIRE!!! Jeep finally fires..then CATCHES FIRE!!

What happens here

The old ignition coil, which is old and rusty, is removed. The coil is held by a bracket with a screw and a square nut. The creator plans to put nice connectors on the new coil. He notes that the new coil is skinnier than the old one, meaning the mounting bracket holes need to be widened slightly with a drill. After drilling, the new coil is securely installed.

Goal: Replace the old ignition coil with a new one.

Tools and materials

  • Connecting Wires — Connecting the coil to the ignition system
  • Drill DeWalt — Widening the mounting holes on the coil bracket
