What happens here

Once the vehicle's engine has successfully started and is running independently, it is safe to disconnect the jump starter. Begin by carefully removing the black negative (-) clamp from the car's engine block or chassis. Subsequently, remove the red positive (+) clamp from the car battery's positive (+) terminal. Securely store the clamps and cables back onto the Milwaukee M18 HOTSHOT Compact Portable Jump Starter. Finally, close the vehicle's hood. It is highly recommended to let the car run for at least 15-20 minutes, or drive it, to allow the alternator sufficient time to recharge the vehicle's battery.

Goal: Safely remove the jump starter and secure the vehicle.
