Mount the Recessed Light Fixture

What happens here

Once all electrical connections are made and secured, carefully push the connected wires and the light fixture's junction box (if separate) up into the ceiling cavity, ensuring no wires are pinched or damaged. Then, align the recessed light fixture with the pre-cut hole in the ceiling. Gently but firmly push the body of the fixture into the hole. Most recessed light fixtures are equipped with spring-loaded clips or tension clips that automatically extend and grip the drywall or ceiling material from behind as the fixture is inserted. Continue pushing until the fixture's trim ring sits flush and snugly against the ceiling surface. Verify that the fixture is securely held in place and does not wobble or hang loose.
