What’s In My Paint Trailer LIVE

Yeah, I'm going to pull the roof down. Do some exercise. Are we not live yet? You are live. All right. We're live. I keep getting asked time and time again. People want to see my trailer video. Well, it's coming out on the whole video from start to finish inside the outside. It's coming. I'm just waiting for the vinyl graphics to be done on the outside. But I'm going to give you a look. Now, what's in this trailer live and how I organized it? How I made it fast and efficient to paint for me. So I got a really a lot of really cool things that I did inside my trailer that I want to show you that you could probably do inside your van, your truck. I don't think you can do it in a truck, but a trailer. So this is my way to to paint fast and efficient. If you got any questions about what I've done in here or any tools, let me know. So I've got all kinds of really sick game-changing tools, tools from four painters, by painters, and all the other stuff. But I'm just going to start over here. I'm just going to walk you around my van and or my trailer. And I used to have vans. Now I got a trailer. Where do you keep your money maker tools? So the money maker tools are kind of just like spread out all over. I'm going to show you some of them. And we'll just get going because everything has a rhyme and a reason to why I put things where they're asked. I can get to them quickly and efficiently find things fast and easy and not have to dig through a big palette crap to get my tools. Part of making money is getting your tools, getting your products, and getting out and painting fast. So somebody had a question about orange peel. Dispray it and saying is there any other options. You use a product that's different than just spraying cans of orange peel. You can use spray cans of orange peel or you can use a hopper to spray orange peel. I got a big machine that actually sprays orange peel. How about the easy pro? The East Pro Texture Gun is about the easiest way you ever find a spray orange peel texture. And we're going out of sequence here but here is my East Pro Texture Gun right here. So that thing with the bags that are attached to it on the bags are reusable. The product doesn't dry out. If you don't use all the product, you take the bag off with the lid back on and reuse it. But these things are amazing when it comes to actually shooting texture. And it's going to give you a better realistic texture than what comes out of a spray can. It actually shoots true texture. The actual bud, bags of mud. So I got a video on that. Go check out that video, how that things use. Absolutely. Love it. We actually sell it in our store at paintlifesupply.com. So I'm going to show you here's how I hang my brushes. So I have these clips and I get these things from my local hardware store. The best way I've ever found to hang a brush. So you can see I hang my brushes some are upside down, some are right side up. It all depends on how they fit. But I've got brushes and I try to keep them organized from exterior. I got my Riverdale's. I got my Maulin Talks. I got my Hamptons Riverdale's exterior interior exterior interior. And then I got stained brushes and so forth. This is the super cool way to hang your brushes. So I have a thing. You can stay right there. These are what they are. This is how I've been hanging brushes for a year ever built right there. Here's another really cool thing. These magnets are light types I'm extending. Jesse wanted to know what type of brush you use for interior and where to get them. So if I'm brushing like a windowsill, if I'm brushing tram, I think the Hamptons are by the far vast brush for brushing and brushing tram, which I don't do very often. But I keep them in for brushing. If I had a brush a windowsill, this is a nylon brush, but premieres are all dewpond filaments, 100% dewpond filaments. So it's kinetics. So it's a very soft bristle brush. Less likely to leave brush strokes. I use them for touch ups and I use them for doing interior tram. If I'm doing interior cut-ins, I like the montage. This is my favorite brush for cutting in interiors and the three-inch angled sash brush by far the best brush I've ever used for interior painting, doing walls, cut-ins and stuff like that. So you can see here's this hinge pin remover. Where could you get them? They want to know. The premier brushes. So the premier brushes, the Riverdale, Montauk and Hamptons, they're available on our store at paintlifesupply.com. So you can make them available because they're my favorite brushes, so they're available on the store. Here's other things. So it'll actually hold you know, extension poles. So you can see up here, I have extension poles attached, readily accessible, all my extension poles. I'd like to have them up and out of the way. Here's something that I use quite often, the Titan Interfed Roller. That's a game changer. That's something every painter needs to have right there. There's the Interfed Roller, which I use multiple. Here's the gun, a gun for one, on an extension pole. So that's how I actually hang extension poles and stuff. Here's a game changing tool, every painter needs. Right here, the hide. Let me see if I can flip it around. It's too long to flip around. But hide, spray pole, not a gun extension. Have that up and out of the way. And these things are amazing. Hang it up here. They're up out of the way, so that expensive tools not going to get damaged. These are really cool. You can see I label things. So they're all labeled spray cans doing roof jacks. I always spray roof jacks black. So they match with the roof, the roof is black. You always got to have your primers. So spray cans, spray cans of primers. I've got multiple different primers available ready for me. Here's, let me show you anything. I got down inside of here, I'm going to keep my everybody's suntan lotion and everybody needs to protect their hands. So that's what else is inside there. Let me put some on. So here's something, if your paint stinks, I'll got that readily available in there for me. I keep alcohol when I clean my mask. So my mask doesn't have the oils from my face the next day. I like to use rubbing alcohol when it freezes. What do you do with the paint in the van? So this, this trailer right here, I bought this size trailer so it'll fit in my garage. So it goes right in my third bay on my garage. So I don't have to remove anything in the winter time. And I did that specifically so I don't have to remove stuff. I used to have to take everything out. I would freeze, put it in my storage. It's on my property and that's a big pain in the neck. But I didn't want to have to do that no more. So I made it, you know, bought one small enough. Here's something, if you're in a commercial site, you know, and you have on water spigots, and you have to have one of these things to turn on the water spigot. So that thing is readily available. Here's the way, here's my thing, the maskers. So these things are a game-changing tool, one of the top five latest masks or painting inventions ever made. I have these, this right here is, this system right here is, I get it off of, I think it's CBTrailers.com or something like that. It's called the, I forget now, the E-lock system or something like that. Now I totally forget. I'll remember in a minute. But here, I got baskets right here. I want to check you show you this out right here. So here's something, see, I got things like this, got to have a sprayer saver. I drilled the hole with it just so it'll hang on there. You have the way. It's not going to get broken. Check this out. So I organize these. Here's golf tees. I like to have things instead of just all piled in a drawer. I can see what it says. It says golf tees. If I need some one inch drywall screws, one inch drywall screws, what if I need some cut hooks? It says cut hooks right here. So these things you can see. I got these things from my local hardware store. So everything's organized. I keep things when I replace people's weather strip on the garage doors. I use these nails. So they're commonly used. You've got to have gutter screws because how many times you lose your gutter screws. You're live. So am I still alive? Am I still alive? You're back. How did you do that? I don't know. We lost half the people. I got a phone call right in the middle of all that. So somebody wanted to know how much money does all this stuff cost? I think these are what these were called e-track. No, I mean like all your tools and stuff like that. So I wanted to say the e-track system. So how much are all the tools in the whole trailer? Yeah, like if you want to get started, how do you like? I don't know. That's a good question. I mean, I've got $3,000 sprayer there, $1,000 there, $1,000 there. That's a couple of thousand. I'd see there's probably like maybe $7,000 in tools, you know in here. Here's drill accessories. You can see I like to have everything labeled. All my drill accessories are right here labeled in a box. Easily accessible. My drill, chemo, chemo drills hangs on. Right there. Here's something, everybody. You never know when you're going to run into a dog that's going to attack you. That's happened to me before. That's nice. Easily accessible. I don't know. There's a brush. Anybody brush buddy? Brush his hanging on the box. So here's some things I got. You know, this is how I hold my roof boots right here. I've got multiple sets of roof boots paying here. I've got my coughing guns. Here's my tool bag. I do have a video coming out on my tool bag. So there's my tool bags you can see. And that just hangs right here. And I've got these pretty cool hooks right here. You can get a close up of that to show how I hold my extension cords. And then tape. I always got tape quickly readily accessible right here. If you don't have the little frog tape or tadpoles tape cutters, those are pretty dang cool. So do you use pretty brushes? And what do you think of them? Pretty brushes. There's, you know, so I use pretty for a long time, a lot of years. So probably for at least half of my career. And I noticed that, you know, probably five years ago, somewhere around there, don't quote me on that, but the quality of the party brushes started to go down. They weren't the quality that they used to be. So I started exploring, trying to find other brushes besides party that were really good quality brushes. And there's some, I found a premier, which is amazing brushes. Corona makes, that's a corona right there. So corona makes awesome brushes too that I do really like. And Worcester. So Corona Worcester premier. So Worcester Stainer, that's a killer stain brush. Here is, if you're strictly doing cut-ins, I did a review on brushes doing cut-ins. And this whiz brush actually works amazing just doing cut-ins. It actually does help you do cut-ins. It's a wedge-shaped feral. And I was very surprised because I thought it was going to be kind of dumb, but to my shock and amazement, it actually worked. And is one of the very few brushes that ever used that says it's going to help you do cut-ins better, that actually does that. So that's pretty cool. Well, look at my system right here. Here's another cool system we've got to show people. This is how I have my putty knives. And they're on this little system. And if you're wondering what the band is right here for, it's these gayer clips. If you don't have these or gatorize, they're right. So I can turn them on at night if it gets too dark in here. But this is how I hold my putty knives. They're all available. I've got door hangers here. I've got blades, extra blades available, extra putty knives. All available right here. All I got to do is take off this and now it's all accessible to all my level five tools right there. But I just came up with this like a little plastic system right here to keep them on because when you're driving down the road, they have a tendency to fall off. And this actually helps them stay on. But I've got here, check this out. I've got lights. So magnetic lights. If you're working at night, they stay on there. There's lights over there. There's a light right here, right there. So I can light the thing up at night. This was run by the vehicle. But you can see extension poles over here. I like top of wears. I like to keep everything in top wears and keep it labeled so you can see how I've got things stored. I've got my rollers back in the back. Here's another thing by Whiz. If you don't have this thing, that thing is amazing for getting behind toilets and stuff. So Big Kahuna, he does use a tool belt and he is going to come out with a video showing what's in this tool belt. Yeah, so I'm going to be coming out with the video. I've already shot the video. What's in my tool belt. So it's all right there. It got tough gap. If you've never seen that thing, that thing's absolutely cool. You could see how it is. So I have a question. Why is it so important to be so organized? I mean, it's a good question. So being organized, it's just going to make you faster and more efficient on the job site. The quicker you can get to the tools, the quicker you can get back to work. It's just in the less frustrated you're going to be. I mean, there's nothing more frustrating than digging through a pile of drop-ploss and digging through your band trying to find something that's not easily accessible. So like this, in organized, I like to have, so I've got all my gun extensions. Everybody knows I'm a big fan of gun extensions. They're all right here. Easy to find. What size I want. I've got quick release gun extensions. So these are quick release if you've never seen them before. You can see how they work. That's a quick release gun extension. Just like that. No threads. That's pretty cool. So these are quick release. These are threaded right here if I need my dual hand. It's right here and everything goes back where it came from. So you always know where it's at. So how many hours have you spent putting this together? Would you say? I probably spent maybe 10 hours doing this whole trailer because I actually painted the whole inside. I removed my e-trax, painted it all. I did the floor, painted the floor. You can see here's my ladderade. So I got things in bags. So that's how I level ladders on stairs. I've got a gray go, my gray go handheld. It's right here. I have my bag of sanders. Everything is all neat and organized. So here's my bag of sanders right there. So I've got a Wagner paint eater in there. So somebody wanted to know where do you get that to go behind toilets? So that's available on my store too. So what my store is, paintmifesupply.com. Almost everything that you see in my trailer is available in my store. So here's some things that are interesting. Why do I have bees? I mean, every now and then customers have trees or bushes that are up against the house and stuff. You need to trim those things. You can see how I hold it. You can see I store my ladder helper. Just drill the hole in it. It goes right into one of the J-hubs right here. Just like that. This is all my gloves right here. My face mask, RZ mask. So somebody wanted to know where do you keep the vacuum? Because that's for interior season. Would you put one in? Because right now you're an exterior. Yeah. So I always do keep a vacuum in here and it'll just sit back here in the corner on interior season. Because I always vacuum the floors. I mean, see how you've got to have your water hose holder. He likes booster brushes. This is an absolute amazing tool. Every painter has to have one of these. I've got my decorative finish box right here with all my decorative tools doing decorative finishes right there. I'll show you. What's this little thing right here? So this is, I'll show you. So check this. This is how I hold one of the top five game changing tools right here. Where are your card boards? On the card boards will show you right there. Everything has its place. Card boards are right here. Somebody said they ordered a shirt. So you need to go to our store and log. Every now and then you're going to need a hard hat if you're going on commercial sites. So I have a hard hat right here. Let me show you. See if I got anything else. This is how right here. Look how I get that so I can find my tools gun cleaning tools. I just wrap take around it. So go inside the hole. How long does a cardboard shield holder usually last you? Because they are plastic. But they're lightweight so that's why you use them. These things actually last you forever. If you really take care of them, but they are fragile right here. So you can break them. I've had them last that some several years. I've broken some in a couple days. You know, we have stepping on them or something like that. But you know, if you take care of it, if you keep it in the same place in your vehicle, it's not going to break. You can see I got what's not strapped in using this guy's strapped in with my ratchet strap. But here are some baskets where I've got tips. You guys have never tried these tips. Bedford tips right there that they're all made in the USA parts. Not made outside of USA in China or any place else. These are great tips. They start to use them. Absolutely. Great tips made in USA. So it got spackle over here. So this summer, what did you paint out of? I painted on my truck for a long time. And so this is pretty exciting. You can see I'm kind of excited. So doing interiors, even interiors, you're going to need a broom. So I got a broom and a dust pan. So I always have a broom and a dust pan to do cleanup right here. So that's hidden back in here. What else, you always, you're going to need a light. So I've got an LED light hanging here. You can see like all these different types of for the e-track system. They got all these different things. I'll show you how easy it comes off. This is the e-track system right here. Just like that. This basket could come off. You can move it around, put it in a different place. So if you spent 10 hours putting this together, which I think maybe a little more, and a lot of money to buy this stuff to organize, but how much does it save you in a year of painting? Oh, it's going to save you 100 hours now. I mean, hundreds of hours, you know, in time, searching for things. A lot of it is the frustration that you go through not being able to find your tools. You can see how I've got tools here, you're hanging here. These are commonly used tools that I have hanging here. Here's magnetic. I do trim repair, so I've got a level. You know, hang it up there, but I'm always using a brush to clean my tools, lindbite scraper. Yeah, it's kind of pretty cool. I'm like really stoked about my whole system. Show you, let's see, what do we got? So what are you doing today? So there, if you need a sprayer for doing gutters and stuff like that, power pressure washing, that's what that's for. I'm called spray flex. The other cool tools I got here. You can see my buckets down here. I have real buckets talking, chemicals, stuff that's all hidden down there. You can see one of them cool things like that. You've got wire nuts. You're going to need wire nuts. I think what, don't you have something? Here's one ladder. Yeah, let me see. So these are actually ear protection. So when you have pressure washing, doing something loud, ear protection is kept right there. Yeah, so I just wanted to show you guys this.
