Understand Caulk Types for Exterior Electrical Use

Somebody recently asked if they should use silicone caulking on their exterior of their home. That would be a really bad idea, so I'm sure they're probably talking about a 100% silicone. A 100% silicone is not painable. You can't prime it, you can't paint it.
