What happens here
Carefully align the marked decking material on a miter saw. Position the saw blade to cut along the main, longer line of the notch. Ensure the material is securely held against the fence and base of the saw before making the cut. Slowly lower the blade to make a clean, straight cut. This cut forms one side of the notch.
