What Did A Prevost XLII Royale Look Like In 2005? (14L Detroit Diesel!!)

What happens here

The presenter concludes the tour by showcasing more exterior details of the Prevost Royale. He points out the sleek, modernized front end, which he prefers over the previous body style (shown on another coach in the background) that featured more traditional, F-150-style headlights. He highlights the flush-mounted slide-outs and large exhaust tip. He then makes an observation about the slide-out's edges, noting that while they are sharp, they are still better than the 'box edge' found on some other coaches, emphasizing the overall refinement and thoughtful design of the Prevost Royale.

Goal: Showcase remaining exterior details and provide final thoughts

that's uh that's a unit right there i only have the the 12.7 i actually did not know that you could get these with a 14 liter i thought they were only in semi trucks maybe this is not a factory motor i don't know i'm gonna have to do some digging if you know if you know what the deal is on those leave a comment let me know because this is news to me and uh you know i'm not gonna lie i kind of wish mine had the 14 liter too just because you know it's the big one and it's cool to say you got the big one i really like the way the front ends look on these things too like obviously the engine's in the back there's no grill but they kind of put that insert in there so it looks like a grill you give that nice traditional car feel and they kind of narrowed down the headlights to give it a better profile over the last version which would be over here we can see that this is the previous body style where you know this was like the precursor to the one over there and they got the thicker like there's these f-150 headlights it's much more classic looking and then they updated it to this look here so it keeps the cool sleek stainless look but it modernizes it and i think it did a really good job with that you see the slides out here all flush no corners to bang your head on like i'm sure some of you've been through this before but can you imagine taking a hard corner on a slide to the dome like that's not good even this is this is a little sharp like some of those renegades i saw in sturgis actually had rubber around here but it was like flush rubber so you wouldn't cut yourself but it didn't stick out either um even round is a heck of a lot better than the regular box edge but the whole exhaust tip for all the powers from this 14 liter engine uh this is my wheelhouse back here big old turbo what's neat about these is the belts retention by air which is kind of interesting good or bad depending how you look at it so when these are off they'll be i'll lose a guzzy then you fire it up and it'll tighten up
