Setting the Leg-Hold Trap on the Floating Platform

What happens here

The host carefully sets the leg-hold trap onto the wooden floating platform. He steps on the jaws to spread them apart, then positions the small trigger plate into the armed position. He attaches a carrot to the vertical stick as bait. The entire assembly is then prepared for placement in the pond. This setup is designed to attract muskrats to the platform, where they will trigger the trap while attempting to reach the bait.
