Checking Traps and Initial Results

What happens here

The next morning, the host and his wife check all the traps set around the pond. They drive their UTV along the dam, inspecting each trap for activity. To their disappointment, none of the cage traps or Conibear traps have been triggered, and no muskrats have been caught. The floating platform trap also shows no signs of activity. They express frustration at the lack of immediate success but remain committed to continuing their efforts to protect the pond's dam.
