We Built My Best Friend the NICEST Deck in the Neighborhood!

What happens here

The deck's perimeter is enclosed with skirting (also known as fascia or rim joists), and the stair stringers are cut and installed. The skirting is constructed using the same composite material as the decking, providing a cohesive look. All exposed end cuts of the composite stair stringers are sealed with primer/sealant for added protection. The stairs are carefully measured and cut to ensure uniform rise and run, with a strong emphasis on precision for safety and aesthetics. The team faces a minor setback when some stair stringers are initially cut incorrectly, requiring adjustment. The skirting is then painted black for a modern, contrasting look against the composite decking.

Goal: Install deck skirting and construct functional, safe stairs.
