We almost lost the queen!! Get a good look at a queen honeybee!

What happens here

If you discover a queen bee trapped on top of the wire mesh screen board (often used as a bottom board or screen for ventilation), you must carefully guide her back into the hive. Use a small, thin tool (like a utility knife or the tip of a hive tool) to gently widen a small opening in the mesh or direct her towards an existing entry point. Encourage her to move through the opening, being careful not to harm her. The creator uses a utility knife to carefully cut the screen to allow the queen to re-enter, then uses the hive tool to gently herd her into the opening.

Goal: Reunite a trapped queen bee with her hive to restore laying and prevent swarming.
