Restore Main Water Supply

What happens here

Go back to the main water meter. Using the meter key, slowly turn the main shut-off valve counter-clockwise. Listen for a 'crack' sound, which indicates water beginning to flow back into the system. Continue turning until the valve is fully open. Opening it slowly helps to prevent water hammer or sudden pressure surges.

Goal: Return to the water meter and slowly open the main water supply valve to restore water flow to the house.
