What happens here
After the crack filler has cured, a secondary grinding pass is performed. This step is critical to level out any proud areas of the crack filler and ensure the entire concrete surface achieves a uniform Concrete Surface Profile (CSP), typically CSP 2-3, which is ideal for resinous coatings. The video shows both the angle grinder (for edges and intricate areas) and a larger, walk-behind concrete grinder connected to a vacuum system, which is used for efficient and uniform grinding of the main floor area. This process ensures a perfectly smooth and prepared surface ready for the coating application.
Goal: Create a uniformly leveled and textured surface ready for coating.
