Apply Resinous Coating System and Allow to Cure

What happens here

Following the thorough cleaning of the meticulously prepared concrete surface, the multi-layer resinous floor coating system is applied. Although not explicitly shown in the video, this process typically involves first applying a primer (if required by the specific system), followed by a pigmented resinous base coat. While the base coat is still wet, decorative vinyl flakes, described as "limestone hybrid flake" by Torginol, are broadcast generously and evenly across the entire surface. After the base coat and flakes have cured for the recommended time, any loose flakes are scraped off, and one or more clear topcoats (either epoxy or polyaspartic) are applied. These topcoats encapsulate the flakes, provide superior chemical, abrasion, and UV resistance, and create the desired seamless, glossy finish. The entire system then undergoes a final curing period to achieve its full strength and durability, as shown in the completed garage.
