Wanted to recap some cool projects we worked on this year, first up is our custom door!!
What happens here
The fully assembled and hinged door frame is carefully carried to its final installation location. The door is then positioned within the prepared entryway opening. It is then securely attached to the existing door jamb or framing using screws, ensuring it hangs plumb and level. Following the main installation, the strike plate for the latch mechanism is installed on the door jamb, aligning it perfectly with the door's latch bolt. Finally, the modern lever-style door handle is installed, completing the door's functionality and aesthetic.
Goal: Mount the assembled door frame into the entryway, secure it with screws, and install the strike plate and door handle.
