Drill and Fasten Door Frame
At 0:17 in
Wanted to recap some cool projects we worked on this year, first up is our custom door!!
What happens here
Once the door frame components are precisely clamped, pilot holes are drilled through the aligned pieces. This prevents splitting of the material, especially important for composite materials, and ensures that screws drive in straight and securely. Following the pilot drilling, screws are driven into place to permanently join the frame sections. The video highlights visible pocket screw holes (likely from a Kreg Jig or similar system), indicating a strong and concealed joint method for attaching frame elements.
Goal: Drill pilot holes and drive screws to securely fasten the clamped door frame components, ensuring structural integrity and a clean finish.
