VIP tour of a Trailer show CLOSED to the PUBLIC

all right guys for the next five days we're gonna bring you all of the latest greatest newest innovations inside outside of the trailer industry we're gonna take you into a show that is closed to the public um and we're gonna show you everything that's going on behind the scenes new products that are not out yet scheduled to come out uh some stuff um i've never even seen before but this is gonna be one fun one really exciting week and i hope to take you guys along for the ride all right guys we're with paul how you doing paul great how are you good what are we looking at with this paul uh these are mad ramps so it's a pivoting ramp system that connects to the receiver hitch of the pickup okay you can load atvs side-by-side snowmobiles golf carts basically anything that'll fit in the bed of the pickup we have two models uh one for two two inch receiver and one for two and a half inch receiver okay rated 1400 pounds and thousand pounds this isn't how you go down the road is it yes it is legitimately legitimately you go down the road just like this uh so it gives you room in the bed of your pickup for all your gear your coolers your bags uh stuff like that this is actually i've never seen anything like this before is there i mean no we're pretty much one of a kind there's nothing really else out on the market so take your straps off pull your ramps out and then as you back up the pivots the ramp pivots right there and you'll back out so when you drive up it's going to pivot back and cradle into that position where do i get five of these this is this is calm this is actually awesome no seriously where do you find these things at madarams.commadramps.com what does a unit like this go for uh 9.95 is retail it's not a bad price man i see guys sticking these things up over their truck beds going down the road and i'm like that looks really cool i'm glad i'm not in that truck you know what i mean this is the solution so it makes it much much safer uh solution versus traditional ramps where you got to worry about the ramps kicking out from underneath you loading up uh you don't have any weight on the tailgate you know you don't have a trailer you don't have insurance yeah licensing can and you but you can't pull a trailer at this point you could not pull trailer okay okay but it comes apart in three pieces okay so you pull the pins each ramp section comes apart and then the main frame you can store them hang it right up on your garage wall i i think i love this i don't know you guys tell me what you think of this never seen anything like this when did you guys when when did you guys come out with this thing uh it's been we've been in business for like four years really four five years dang all right paul nice to meet you thank you sir thank you i think this may be one of my new favorites i'm not joking that is slick and look at that you guys have you seen something like that going down the road would you be i bet guys like flag other people your four-wheeler's falling out you're four-wheelers it's just got caught by the rams get pulled off oh my god holy crap wow i don't know what they think that's cool all right again thanks paul so i walk into the iron bull booth and everybody does this except for cody these are mad right here how you doing carly good how are you good all right so this is your truck body yes this is our sd truck man can you walk me through this because i see the integrated tool boxes one of the main selling features of this truck toolbox right here just a small angle toolbox so so this actually is an add-on option you would actually get this c-tec you don't have to install your own but you could if you wanted to do it if you wanted to okay it's an upgraded option i heard you all the way over there you can hear us outside oh there's a lot of people that are like they love us so the other side has the c-tech package this has two adjustable shelves this is what comes standard in it stand okay yep so your each truck man sd bed will come standard with two shelves in both front tool boxes okay upgrade i see you've got the lights protected here you've got a recessed you have them protected here you've got an integrated hitch system here's where you're going here's where you can hook up your trailer [Music] what is this thing it's a shovel box just an extra storage if you need and you didn't want to show me that cody there you go that is the north star uh by iron bull um iron bowl was made by nordstrom's ob last words yeah what he said the right way thanks tony thank you man all right see you guys [Music] all right guys we're gonna check out this booth i seen these are called adventure trails i've never actually seen one of these outside of sema so this is kind of cool it's a trailer just set up for you guys that go outdooring let's look at this thing is that a pretty good cargo space in there sorry is that a lot of cargo space oh look at that this whole thing is just set up so dude can just oh thank you look at these tires i mean you can put any tires on but you can tell they've got this thing actually set up for the dude that really takes it is camping seriously this one is this one is child proof so so i can't too technologically advanced for a whole lot okay 6200 if you didn't hear them this is a base model this one is about 10 grand [Music] with the child proof front safety flange pretty cool let's keep going all right guys i'm with ron and this came out about seven months ago yeah okay so this is can you walk me through this ron sure yeah this is our ac 100 here it's uh popular because people have always had a concern and had a problem people taking off their bolts and just throwing another coupler in and then with our product it it actually blocks those bolts so now nobody else can hold another coupler up for people stealing them that way oh yeah yeah i mean because that would it means like you can put your padlock on the front but if you got two bolts that you can just loosen up you're gonna lose your hitch absolutely and that's a 200 bill every day of the week yep right so these are are these by proven locks is that right yeah these are my persian locks and then here's the matching coupler lock that actually goes with this ac100 you can see it all fits together and everything is keyed the same so it's one key for all the locks and that's new in the lock industry thanks ron appreciate it thank you okay so this actually has an integrated scale for the tongue weight built in integrated scale yeah right on this one on this one correct yep so you look at that as you put the you know lower the the trailer down on there it's going to give you an accurate measure of how much tongue weight is on the back of your back but you also have another pretty cool feature which is the one that made me turn the camera on in the first place that's right that's right um people are sick of walking uh walking into the grocery store coming out and having their ball mount uh gone stolen from them so on this one this is called our albm or adjustable locking ball mount but we've uh we've integrated hitch pin locks into that so you can see what's going on there um but as well uh on the ball holder your adjustment uh the ball holder itself is locked down so you can unlock it raise it to whatever height you need flip it around to the two inch ball if you need that lock it back up and and it's going to be there when you get out of the grocery store but but another cool feature is um you know one of the major concerns or problems with ball mounts is that right there's naturally going to be some some play in those and you're going to hear some rattle and noise and planking and it drives a lot of people not uh this one is our silent toe or our stbm model which if you grab the bottom of that there's no movement at all nobody gave me the demand the way that we've done that is uh integrated a solid steel pin in here so this is one of your problem areas still we're still filming go ahead oh okay sorry so one of the problem areas is is with the the shank and the receiver too there's going to be some a wiggle room there just naturally to get the the ball mount in your truck um so when we crank this down you can see what's happening here is it raises that pin up to remove all the slack out of the truck's receiver you're lucky i had my snickers this morning [Laughter] all right sorry about that you're all right that sticks out like a sore thumb anyway um the reason i said who cares about that is because i mean to me that's like a diva thing i mean i got guys and i don't mean no offense to you jason by any means no but there's guys that are like it rattled and i'm like you didn't grow up on a
