Useful Storage For The Kitchen

What happens here

Cut 1/2 inch maple plywood for the drawer boxes. Assemble the drawers using wood glue and pocket hole screws, ensuring they are square. Install 22-inch full-extension drawer slides into the bench carcasses, ensuring they are level and operate smoothly. Attach the corresponding parts of the slides to the assembled drawer boxes. Apply iron-on edge banding to all exposed raw plywood edges of the bench carcasses and drawer boxes for a finished look. Use a hot iron to melt the adhesive and a scraper to trim any excess banding.

Goal: Cut and assemble drawers from 1/2 inch plywood, install full-extension drawer slides, and apply edge banding to exposed plywood edges.
