Isotunes is hearing protection that works as everyday headphones, allowing you to listen to your music and make phone calls, but they use safe max technology, which keeps your listening volume at or below 85 dB. This cuts down high frequencies while still allowing you to hear the sounds of your engines, alarms, etc. And the Isotunes 3.0 0 uses noise isolation, which means the ear tips or ear cushions create a physical seal that blocks loud, high frequency noise. The Isotunes 3.0 is perfect if I need something to slip underneath my hat that doesn't get in the way. This is perfect for when I'm traveling or I just need something that doesn't get in the way. And that noise isolation is the right choice for power tools, saws, grinders, and other outdoor equipment. The Isotunes free awares lets you hear your surroundings while still protecting your hearing. It uses small microphones to listen to what is around you and play it back at a safe volume. Use this if you need to work around others to hear instructions, conversations, machines, traffic. For comfort and battery life, the Link 2.0 is a hard one to beat with 50 hours of run time. Now, if you need something that's quick in and out, this is the one to pick. But if you're in a situation where you got to be able to easily talk to people and listen to engine sounds, the FreeAware is the one to to choose.
