(12,401 characters)Okay Johnny, tell me about the new Arctic plow. >> Stan, it's here baby. It's here. This is the Arctic Razorback full kit finally available to the public on the market and we are so proud to show it to you here today. Yeah, so tell me about exactly what you did that's different than what everybody else is doing lately, Johnny. >> Well, it's been since 2011 for competitive manufacturers have come out with any type of extendable wing plow. We have now taken the technology of the Arctic sectional and put it into a pickup truck plow that is easy to couple and uncouple with a couple of simple switches. No more wrestling with the head unit trying to get pins to jump in, hoping that the springs aren't broken. It is locked in and out hydraulically as well as the head unit lifted up and down hydraulically by the simple flip of a switch. Are we going to do it? >> Absolutely, let's do it. >> Let's do it. So, what's unique about the Razorback setup now? The entire setup is made by Arctic Snow and Ice products from the wiring under the hood to the headlights to the pump unit. As you can see inside, everything is within a sealed compartment, very easy to get to. Even the solenoid on top, it can all be done without removing it. Right here is a see-through reservoir so you can see the level of your fluid and you're not playing the guessing game where you keep filling until it spills out all over the place. There's also a separate pump unit strictly for the pin locks. Now, if you want to come around to this side, Stan, I can show you. Everything here is clearly marked. Simply raise your rack up, hit the unlock button, you can see the pins go in. Put your rack down. There you go. If you look right here, I will demonstrate the pins going in and out locking. There's your full lock. There's your full release. If you notice, everything is set up in steel from your hydraulic piston to your framework. Your pump and headlight unit is all aluminum putting you just barely over 1,200 lb for weight on the front end of a truck which is slightly higher than competitive manufacturers. And now you also have side beams. Yes, we just installed those recently. There are multiple functions that can be done on the joystick which I'll show you in just a moment. You can push different buttons on one joystick controller in order to get the different functions whether it's integrated strobes or the side beams. These also go in amber if you have blizzard type conditions so that you don't have that bright white light shining right back in your face. Got it. >> So, with our pins back in, we run our rack up. We run our pins out to lock them until you see them fully push out. Then you can test with the plow, you know you're good and fully connected. Another great thing is you can see these are our plugs with our wiring. When you unplug the unit from the truck, the plugs are different on each attachment. Now, I put these back together. I leave my truck or my plow plug plugged in here. Sealed >> I can do the same with my truck. Sealed and and delivered. >> And now we're not dealing with losing those rubber plugs that always fall off and disappear. Okay. And it's very simple. They are connected well, but if for some reason you forget and back away, they simply unplug without destroying the plow. And there's only one way they can go together. As you can see, I'm trying to put it in. They don't want to fit. The grooves on the top go on the inserted groove there. Fully connected, ready to go again. Face what you got. Now, the integration of the sectional plow has now been put onto this truck plow. We manufacture everything from the deflectors all the way back to that framework. What we've done is we've taken a Boss style hookup. Now, if you already have a Boss plow on your truck, you've got the mount you need and this will connect to it and then you put the wiring in. If you have a Western style where you could pull the two pins and remove the horns, Mhm. we now make a Boss style coupler that goes right up into those Western setups with the two pins. Say you're out plowing, you're done plowing, there's no snow for the week, you want to go hunting. Well, you can't take your truck off-road with that Boss apparatus hanging down. Now you pull the two pins out, >> Okay. drop it down and the bottom of your truck is flush and clean and you can go off-road to go to your favorite hunting spot. The Arctic boys are ahead of the game. Is that everything, Johnny? No. Wait, wait, there's more. >> Well, wait, there's more. Okay, so as I said with our whole setup or our hookup, everything's all easy to get to with the hoses, the whole deal. Each moldboard has the spring-loaded trip edge. This is a very stiff rubber but yet flexible allows the snow to be able to roll. With the wings, Yep. >> we can do multiple things with the wings. Now, with the wings fully folded back from side to side, we are at 8 and 1/2 ft which is your legal limit. Now, with doing that, you have now made yourself a rear containment plow for being able to backtrack out of loading docks, out of parking spots and have somewhere where it's not immediately spilling off your straight blade pulling all that snow back. All right? Back around to the front. With the wings fully out, we are at 12 ft all the way across the front. That's a lot of snow pushing power right there. >> Yep. In the scoop mode, we are just over 11 ft plus we have full articulation both ways. Now, something that's great, a lot of guys deal with this. Your sidewalk crews go and clean the walks off, they have all the snow against the curb line and you run down there with just a straight blade on an angle. What happens? 50% or more of that snow rolls right up onto the sidewalk and then they have to go back again. What's great with this is each wing operates individually. Now, if you look at this setup, you can see the square of the truck. Now, this wing is grabbing right off the curb line not allowing anything to roll back up on the curb, running it off the side, kicking it out all the way past the truck. The best part about this unit is this unit right here works perfectly on a dually or a 1-ton truck as well because of the fact that the wings kick out so you will never run your tires from your roll off on the edges of the blade. >> And now it's finally released. Finally available to anybody on the market. >> Everything's done. >> Look up your local dealer on our website, Arctic Snow and Ice products. >> down pressure. >> All right, so another feature that we are very proud of, we now have the ability as I talked to you before about the wings being back or you get into heavy snow pack, we have down pressure. 3 seconds holding the button applies that pressure to those three cutting edges only allowing you to be able to scrape and peel. Packed snow and ice. Look at that truck bounce up and down. Look at that. That's down pressure right there. Float mode, his other two sections jump a little bit. >> Okay, so this is float mode. Go for it. Now, did you notice how those other two sections jumped up about an inch? Okay. Now he's going to do it again with down pressure to show how well that scrapes the ground. Those other two sections aren't going to move. Okay. Did you see that? Did you see that? >> see that. >> Full contact the whole time. Now, not like regular straight blade plows where you trip over something and the plow flies up in the air and depending how fast you're going, how much snow you miss, this now keeps in contact with the ground, clears the obstacle and immediately returns allowing you to keep all of the snow you already have contained and no need to go back and re-plow. Thank you. All right, good. Now, as you can see here, our spring-loaded trip edge is just beginning its action. At this point right now where it's hitting the block, the edge is already tripped. That force is now going to be distributed to the poly blocks making this section rise up allowing that edge to fully return back to scrape mode. So, as soon as it clears the block and hits the ground again, it's ready to start pushing. Move back here. Let's see if he can push through it. See if he can push through it. Boom. It's already back in scraping mode before it even clears that obstacle. All right, let's watch this wing here. Back up. We're going to show THEM AGAIN, BLAKE. NOW, IF YOU NOTICE WITH THE WING, NOT ONLY do we have a spring-loaded pivoted edge right here that's on a hinge, but we also have the three pivots in the wing itself allowing whatever force is against here to be relieved by the wing, back into cutting and back down into the pavement as we clear. >> Okay. I come back over here, Stan. We'll do it in slow motion for >> I want to see it from this point. >> Okay. Come on easy. See the strobes in the lights and Yes, they do. I do. Turn them off real quick, Blake. Put your regular headlights on. Oh, yeah. Right here. Yeah, there we go. We got them. Okay. Stan, we also want to add we have LED headlights now with heating elements in them which doesn't allow any frost or any ice to build up on the light whatsoever. Okay. And we've also integrated strobe lights into those lights as well. And that's done from your controller by holding your left and right button momentarily and they flash back and forth for you. We've also added two additional auxiliary wiring setups in your pump housing which this particular one has a spot or floodlights on the side which can be white or amber giving you more illumination to the side to be able to not have tunnel vision when you're plowing. And on very stormy blizzardy nights, you can turn those to amber and that'll allow you to cut through that white noise that you get when there's that much snow and the white light is reflecting back at you. The yellow will cut through giving you a safer pathway to be able to do what you have to do. But wait, there's more. There's always more. With Johnny, there's always more, you guys. Are we good? I think we're good. We're good. >> Oh, let's see the controller. Can we see the controller, Blake? Fact that it's weighted, everything else, the buttons are raised. Yeah, so John >> Go over that. Um the auxiliary lights aren't included. We're just showing that you could hook up anything you want to it. So, they're not part of the package, but you have it set up so you can wire them and it will already in your control. To turn on one of the auxiliaries, I'm just holding down these two buttons for 3 seconds and then whatever you have wired to it, it's going to toggle it on and off. >> Okay. Yep. Perfect. I think we're going to have packages in the future, but right now we're just demonstrating that you can put whatever you want out there. You have two separate auxiliaries for 12 V. Blake is the engineer that worked with Lucas and built this thing and I knew about it for many, many, many years. Um he's the one He's the guy that built the car that went 984 miles on 1 gallon of gas. So, is that how Was that accurate? 816 816 miles on 1 gallon of gas. So, he's freaking brilliant. Um Is that everything? Or should I go talk to Johnny cuz he'll keep coming up with stuff. Well, Johnny can show you the wiring harness on the truck how simple it is. He did. He did? He did. I think we'll think of more, but Okay. >> I think that's it. That's it. Yeah. But now you were telling me that you're not changing this plow for 2 years. No, we're dedicating to supporting the product. We think we have it to a place where we have it pretty dialed in. There'll be maybe revisions for manufacturing or maybe things that pop up, but we're not going to be coming out with an all new version this in several years. So, we're going to be dead set on this product and uh dedicated to supporting it. That's it. Yep. So, you're committing to this design. >> Committing to this so people can feel comfortable that we're not just going to flip the switch on something new next year. Um and obsolete this, right? We're going to dedicate to it for a while. Awesome. Thanks, Blake. Appreciate it. That's the new Arctic ready to go out the gate and coming to your way. Go check out their website. Now, let's go on. God bless. Go get them, you guys.
