What happens here
Wrap a ratchet strap tightly around the circumference of the tire, roughly in the middle of the tread. Begin ratcheting the strap to compress the tire, pushing the sidewalls outwards against the rim. This pressure is essential to create a seal between the bead and the rim, allowing the tire to hold air.
