Position Joist Hanger

What happens here

Carefully position the selected joist hanger around the end of the joist so that the joist rests fully within the hanger's saddle. The top flanges of the hanger should be flush with the top edge of the joist, and the back of the hanger should be tight against the ledger board or beam to which the joist is being attached. The video shows a hand holding the joist hanger in place.
